Lapis Horses
Majestic
Regal
Lapis among stalks of pearl
Amid technicolor hills
rolling like waves
and white sky
Clouds of
lemon
orange
peach
and blueberry
and inside color and blend,
bent in hearts,
amid the cadet grass
Majestic
Regal
Lapis
horses
World in an Iris
Chocolate
Dark chocolate
Through cornea
into the pupil
I am quiet in face and body
Inside the eyes are worlds,
Galaxies remaining unseen
Come in, the water’s fine
The Horse in Woods of Color
Persian
Top-Right
Pine
Low-Left
Sapphire Steel
Low-Right
Thistle Sky and Grape Ruby

A wild horse among
the firs
And splashes of
Byzantine Yale,
A Mint Forest
and Spiced Burgundy Gold bent into a heart

The firs of jet
bow to the horse

The horse runs amid
a sheet
